This blog was created as an outlet for all the random science facts floating about in my head. For years I would (and still do) sit down with an encyclopedia and brows through it looking for interesting articles. If I found something particularly fascinating, I would go strait to my friend Google, or try looking up the topic on Wikipedia for a general idea of where to go next.
Although this blog is an enjoyment for me to write, I hope it will be an enjoyment for you to read. I try to format my posts so they are interesting to look at, easy to navigate, quick to read and provide interesting information. I try to balance graphics with loading time to get the best of both worlds, at this point the posts contain 2 or 3 pictures each.
If there are particular subjects you would like to see on this blog, or have comments or suggestions on the content, layout, format, color scheme, etc, please leave a comment. And don't hesitate point out errors as long as your criticism is constructive.
A little about me:
I am a small town Minnesotan who loves science and mathematics. Aerodynamics, astronomy, botany, calculus, electricity and sub atomic physics are of particular interest to me.
I have several younger siblings, which is where I get my user name. And yes, my profile picture is the Larryplane from Veggie Tales.
I spend my spare time playing with siblings, launching model rockets, caring for my plants, bicycling and researching random subjects.
I am a Christian and not ashamed of sharing it. I will not shove religion down your throat with this blog, but be aware that I write with a Biblical worldview.
